Who We Are
We are are writers and editors based in Dayton, Ohio, with clients all over the country. We have different but complementary skills and interests—so we often work on separate projects but will collaborate when a project requires both of our brains.
Heather Martin
I am a contract communications specialist for a variety of clients—planning and creating content for social media, media releases, newsletters, grant applications, websites, annual reports, and more. I do developmental editing for authors writing their memoirs, write workplace training and development curriculum, and copy edit papers for academic journals, including the Journal of Extension.
I also offer writer coaching and editing through Word’s Worth Writing Connections, and I design email newsletters, annual reports, websites, and social media posts.
Brian Martin
With a background as a high school English teacher and an educational publishing editor, I specialize in developing K12 curriculum and other educational content. I have worked extensively with Cooperative Extension educators to develop and polish public-facing content, and I work with authors to develop Young Adult novels, memoirs, and personal growth books.
